Ricardo Romero Cortez Duque

Ricardo Romero Cortez Duque was born in Chicago and raised in Eastern Washington. Acrylic paintings are his main medium, with capsule explorations into oil, ink, and mixed media. Exploring a classic landscape in abstract application, Ricardo creates intense personal moments masterfully allowing the viewer to create the narrative. The deconstructed landscape requests the viewer to blur their vision, pull from their personal memories, and attach their own meaning.

Ricardo lives, works, and shows in Seattle, WA.
